FURRY FRIENDS: DOG FRIENDLY EASTER EGGS
As a self-confessed dog nut, I am always trying to find ways to include Lola into our holiday celebrations. Easter is a little bit harder than the rest with the whole "dog and chocolate" situation.
Well not anymore - Enter Carob Doggy Eggs! Carob is basically a dog friendly alternative to choc, packed full of minerals and vitamin B.
I decided to try and make Lola and some of her pals some eggs so they could join in with the festivities.
Lola fussed and cried while I was making these and was more than happy to lick the spoon. Recipe is below!
INGREDIENTS:
x1 packet of carob treats (available at most good pet shops)
x1 Easter Egg mould
Peanut Butter
a handful of mini dog biscuits
METHOD:
1. Put a small saucepan of water on a low heat. Place bowl on top of saucepan and add carob treats. Stir until melted. Turn off heat.
2. Lightly grease your egg mould with coconut oil so the eggs are easier to get out.
3. Spoon melted carob in to the moulds, making sure the sides are well covered and not too thin.
4. Place in the fridge for about 10 mins.
5. Once carob has set, remove from moulds by gently tapping them on the bench. When you have your two halves, fill one half with dog biscuits.
6. Use peanut butter to secure both halves together. If you have some left over melted carob, wipe this over the peanut butter to make it look like a full chocolate egg.
7. Place back in the fridge to set. Once set, package up ready for your pup to enjoy!

ZEAL BLOG BY BEC
Every morning, I sit at my
computer with my green tea, log on, start up my emails and open Zeal Blog by
Bec.
With posts ranging from the best brunch spot in Brisbane to tips on how to save your dollars, it is a little gem amid the millions of blogs floating around. I recommend you add it to your favourites or at least check in regularly!
I love starting my morning with
one of Bec’s beautifully put together posts. I find it puts my head in the
right mind set for the day.
I started following Bec on Instagram I don’t
even remember when and fell in love with her colourful feed. I felt common ties
with her straight away. She and I both share a boston baby (Lulu and Lola –
soul sisters for sure!), a deep love for San Fran, the art of breakfast and
being organised/motivated little ladies!
Bec writes straight from her heart and directly to yours – she is definitely a blogger that connects with her readers (LOVE!) AND she posts basically every day yay!

MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2014
Rewind to this time 3-4 years ago and my 18 year old self would be gushing about fashion week and whinging about how amazing everyone is, how I have no money and how unfair my life was.
Fast foward back to 2014 and my focus has shifted slightly from fashion to furniture and I am stalking Milan Design Week like there is no tomorrow.
Now, not only am I whinging about all the beautiful clothes, the beautiful people and my lack of funds, I am also having a sook about all the amazing furniture and homewares that I need and consequently can't have. Lucky Jez!!
My biggest lusts so far can be found below. And do not be mistaken, I don't want these, I NEED these.

THE BUTCHER, THE BAKER, THE STYLIST & CREATOR: CAM WEDS AMY
When your day is filled with blooms, gold glitter, skulls, cake, a delicious old barn and beautiful people you know it's going to be a good one.
Yesterday saw the amazing Cam and Amy squeeze out some "I do's" and become man and wife (complete with City and Colour, Northern Wind following her down the aisle, I DIE)
I had the absolute pleasure of assisting the babe machine Jess (@butcherbakerstylist) set this dream wedding up!
Perfectly nestled on the ground of Alverstoke Barn, Jess sprinkled her magic and created the ultimate spot for these two to swap rings, complete with a naked gold wedding cake.
I even got to pop my flower hat on and get creative with some huge glass jars, antlers and huge florals.
Amy sourced basically everything for this herself and will be hiring alot of it out, so if you love it, which you will, head over to @sparkleandbloom on the 'gram for more details.
The pictures really speak for themselves, so get scrolling!! And if you really want to get your lurk on, search #camywed on Instagram - you won't be sorry and I won't tell...
